寺町通りにも燕が飛び交い、初夏の兆しを感じる今日この頃、皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか。。。
今年で第三回目となります公募展『いまからまめさら 2014』を、本年は8月19日（火）～8月25日（日）に開催致します。
この公募展は、七代目 山中源兵衛が「豆皿」という広く知られた器を通し、一人でも多くの方に金工の世界に触れて頂く機会となることを
目的とし、又、実績地位を問わず出品者をすべて同じ目線で紹介させて頂く公募展になります。
昨年は41名が出品。 日本国内だけでなくイタリアやアメリカからの出品者も。
日本の金工界だけでなく、海を越え、その国それぞれの豊かな文化、それとともに育まれた金工界との交流も
この公募展『いまからまめさら』を通じ始まっています。
最優秀作品には、本年も「山中源兵衛賞」（副賞10万円）が授与されます。
さてさて、今年はどんな“まめさら”に出会えるのか・・・皆様の応募を楽しみにお待ちしております！

≪開催スケジュール≫
１．期 間
2014年8月19日（火）～ 25日（月） 各日10時 ～ 18時 ※日曜日も開催しております
２．受賞式＆レセプションパーティー
2014年8月23日（土） 18時～ 20時
≪出品作品について≫
- 未発表の金属製作品で、本展の趣旨に添うものであること
- 展示販売できるものであること
※販売手数料を50％頂戴します - 応募資格は問いません
- 応募作品の中から、最優秀賞として下記の賞を授与いたします
・山中源兵衛賞 （副賞10 万円）

For the third year, we will hold the Imakara Mamesara, 2014 exhibition from Tuesday 19 August until Monday 25 August.
This open call exhibition will be held by Genbei Yamanaka 7th, with the aim of sharing the world of ‘mamesara’ metalwork.
All exhibitors will be judged equally, regardless of their standing.
Last year we had 41 exhibitors, not only from Japan, but also from Italy and USA.
Through the open call Imakara Mamesara exhibition, not only the Japanese metalwork industry, but the overseas industry has grown within their own rich culture.The ‘Genbei Yamanaka Prize’ of 100,000yen will again be awarded for the best work.
We are looking forward to seeing various kinds of ‘Mamesara’ and look forward to your participation in the event.

About artwork
Work must previously never have been shown in public.
Work must comply with the purpose of the exhibition and be available for purchase.
We will charge a 50% sales commission.
There is no specification of qualifications.
From all the entries, we will award the best work with the ‘Genbei Yamanaka Prize’ of 100,000yen.
