金属工芸公募展『いまからまめさら 2018』に本年も、フランス語教育と日仏文化交流に努めるフランス政府公式文化機関であるアンスティチュ・フランセ日本様より、 “Prix Institut français du Japon” を設けていただいております。

本日は、本年度の”Prix Institut français du Japon”の賞に関する詳細をいただきましたので下記に発表いたします。

アンスティチュ・フランセ日本賞

日仏外交関係樹立160周年と京都・パリ友情盟約締結60周年の記念すべき年にあたり、2010年から清課堂とのコラボレーションを行っているアンスティチュ・フランセ日本は、金属工芸公募展「いまからまめさら」において、日本人アーティスト1名の作品を選抜し、アンスティチュ・フランセ日本賞を授与いたします。
副賞として、アンスティチュ・フランセ関西の開催する「ニュイ・ブランシュ KYOTO 2018」において受賞作品が展示されます。
また、受賞者には、アンスティチュ・フランセ日本の５つの支部の１つであるヴィラ九条山に滞在しているレジデント・アーティストのコンテンポラリーな創作と、自身のノウハウとの間で生まれる交流を目的として、同施設での短期滞在の機会が与えられます。
受賞者名は、2018年7月7日の展覧会のオープニングにおいて、山中源兵衛賞の発表と併行して、アンスティチュ・フランセ日本の代表者によって発表されます。
受賞者は、制作した作品の全ての付属資料に次の記載を含めるものとします：

Prix Institut français du Japon

Pour illustrer les 160 ans des relations diplomatiques entre la France et le Japon et les 60 ans d’amitié entre Paris et Kyoto, l’Institut français du Japon est invité à distinguer le travail d’un artiste japonais à l’occasion de l’Exposition Imaka mamesara, réalisée dans le cadre de sa collaboration avec Seikadô depuis 2010.
Le lauréat du Prix Institut français du Japon aura la possibilité d’exposer le travail pour lequel il a été récompensé dans le cadre de la programmation de Nuit Blanche 2018 établie par l’Institut français du Japon – Kansai.
Le lauréat du Prix Institut français du Japon pourra également bénéficier d’un court séjour à la Villa Kujoyama pour confronter son savoir-faire aux pratiques contemporaines des résidents du programme.
Le nom du lauréat sera annoncé par un représentant de l’Institut français du Japon lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture de l’exposition, le 7 juillet 2018, conjointement à l’annonce du Prix décerné par la maison Seikadô.
Le lauréat sera tenu de faire figurer la mention suivante sur tous les documents relatifs à ses réalisations :

Institut français du Japon Prize

To illustrate 160 years of diplomatic relationships between France and Japan and 60 years of friendship between Paris and Kyoto, the French institute of Japan is invited to select the work of a Japanese artist for Imaka mamesara Exhibition, in the frame of its collaboration with Seikado since 2010.
The Nuit Blanche 2018, co-organised by the French Institute of Japan and the City of Kyoto, will be the opportunity for the prize-winner to exhibit his/her work for which he/she will have been distinguished.
He/she will also be offered a short residency at Kujoyama Villa in Kyoto, with the aim of confronting his/her artistic practice to that of the program residents.
The prize-winner will be announced by a representative of the French Institute of Japan during the opening ceremony of the exhibition on next July 7th, jointly to the announcement of the Prize awarded by the Seikadô House.
The prize-winner will have to make represent the following mention on all the documents relative to his/her work:
Lauréat Prix Institut français du Japon 2018.
