The following are precautions and care instructions for using copper, bronze and brass products in your daily life for many years to come.
- For all copper, bronze and brass products, no special care is required, but occasionally wipe off any stains or finger marks with a soft cloth.
- When you wash the product in water, wipe it dry with a soft cloth such as cotton to remove any moisture.
For brass kettles and teapots
Brass teapot’s body is made of brass, silver-plated, and then colored with Ibushi, antique color. When you use the kettle over a fire, they can be used in the same way as aluminum or stainless-steel water kettles. However, please be careful that the fire only touches the bottom of the teapot. After use, wash with a soft sponge and neutral detergent and wipe it dry. Do not use abrasives as they will remove the Ibushi, antique color and silver plating and cause scratches.
